Successfully navigating beauty, fashion and entertainment require the right combination of knowledge, skills and experience. The complexity and resources required today are a delicate balancing act for the best of the best. More to the point, to be a creative influencer today in the entertainment industry, one is required to foster leadership. Developing oneself as a creative artist today is actively looking toward the future and finding something better and brighter to convey to your audience.

For example, in the beauty, and fashion industry, empirical evidence shows entertainment can be beneficial to an audience. It is important to understand the difference between the three respective disciplines. In some mysterious way, we cannot fully comprehend, the social media influencer, the creator of all things we like, personally identifying with us.

Sonia Soni has always been interested in Singing. Singing talent didn’t come to her just like that rather she dedicated herself since childhood but never thought that she would choose singing as her career. “My childhood was filled with music and singing and a passion for classic songs”. She never learnt music professionally but had a passion for singing which she recognized at a very early age. Sonia’s parents always supported her for her singing career. She finished her schooling as well as graduation in Music from her hometown only.

Model, Singer and Influencer. In addition, she’s also an aspiring fashion icon with a passion for supercars and living life in the fast lane. Sonia Soni is creating waves in the entertainment industry and has become a sought after talent. Born and raised in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the Gujarati-Indian aspired to become a singer and fashion icon

I recently had the privilege to speak with the model, singer and style influencer Sonia about how being in this industry has definitely allowed her to get ahead of the fashion curve and perhaps even ahead of trends, how beauty and fashion stylists put together looks and pieces that are very important to the entertainment industry is redefining the standards of fashion!

Talk to Lakkars about your personal style, the importance of style to you, and how it relates to your brand as an Singer and Influencer?

My personal style has always been a way for me to express myself and has definitely evolved over the past few years throughout my career. It’s always been important for me to feel good and look good in what I wear. I’ve found that even when I’m in comfortable loungewear or basic matching workout sets, I like to add on a few different pieces that bring out my own unique personal style. As a Singer/ model Influencer, I’m always exposed to cutting edge fashion that helps me keep up with the latest trends. Being in this industry has definitely allowed me to get ahead of the fashion curve and perhaps even ahead of trends in a sense when it comes to fashion and shaping my personal style

How has your workflow changed during the COVID-19 pandemic?

A lot of changes due to the pandemic has affected my work life in the entertainment industry. It’s been a really weird year and lots of changes in my work dynamic. The biggest hit that was definitely affected the most would be my Singer jobs and commercials. Since March of last year, all work has been cancelled and called off. Auditions took a long pause but quickly switched to online submissions which I found wasn’t so bad. The only thing with that is even with booking a role or job, there’s no set date to begin filming due to COVID restrictions that are set in place. As far as being a model/ singer, not much has changed aside from working remotely from home. The only difference being is that I have my own shoot at home rather than going to sit for a photoshoot with a professional photographer.

How are you using your platform and influence during this time to create a social impact?

It has been a crazy year and a lot has been happening, but I try to keep a positive note on my platform to continue and encourage others to see that this time is only temporary. I think now more than ever, it has been very important to bring awareness through social media. During this time, keeping up to date with everything going on around us and standing for what is right has been something I entertain my audience.

singing in front of an audience isn’t easy. Vocal beginners and experts alike all need a confidence boost from time to time, especially before taking the stage. Even if you know a song inside-and-out, if you don’t feel confident then it’s hard to perform at your full potential. Sometimes, just a few positive words can make all the difference.

Whether you could use motivation to keep singing, or you’re looking to inspire a friend, there are countless confidence pick-me-ups available from the inspiring artists who came before us. For the little ones in your life, you can use these children singing quotes to go beyond saying “you sing so good” and give them something more meaningful.
